In celebration of its 25th anniversary and commitment to cultivating greener communities, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is bringing pop-up parks to six urban communities across Canada, including Calgary!
From June 15 to 19, a parking lot at the intersection of 6th Avenue SW and 4th Street SW (southwest corner) will be transformed with a pop-up green space. Open to the community for five days, the park will offer free community programming, including performances from local musicians, line dancing classes, art lessons, bicycle tuning and more. Visitors will be surrounded by native grasses and trees, log seating and tables, while they enjoy outdoor activities.
